Jigsaw Puzzle

jigsaw puzzle

i was
quite certain
there were more
than
a thousand pieces
scattered
before me
none
of the pieces
had clear markings
to indicate
where
and
when
to assemble
let along
whether or not
all
the pieces
where there
yet
i began
my task
and
parenthood
began
